I'm particularly sensitive to fractal energy and harmonic symmetry.

I totally love nature which is the expression of those "forces" if you will.  One can definitely tell the difference between organic and nonorganic on the quantum level.

I have found that trees in these parts have a lot of pitch on them. Our trees are related to what is called "pitch pine" in eastern US.  They are Ponderosa Pine that can survive on the boundary where dry desert takes over.  Even leaning on a tree with a hand can often result in a sticky place on your hand.  I don't hug the pine trees much because that would end up pitch all over.  Even walking underneath their branches can end up with sticky pitch on your foot.  Not infrequently I return home with a mass of dirt and such stuck to the bottom of my feet by pitch.  They don't make good firewood either, but its what we have.

Right!  I have done a little research on Schumann resonance and discovered its low frequency being similar to hippocampal rhythms in the brain and therefore by some inferred as having a link.  More bedtime reading for me, I think!

How do you dowse, JBee?  Or do you simply 'detect' the good places with some mental or physical feeling or other?  What do they feel like?

For me, it just feels good to be there, and there is a kind of knowing. Like coming over a ridge to see an inspiring view, I'll just find myself there. Different from a belly ache going away adjusting attitude, subtle but definitive. Or, just asking can lead to a feeling like a compelling, a letting go and being taken to. To find it, "I" have to get out of the way.

The dowsing is fun. I have an "L" rod of stiff coat hanger. It is encased in a tube of hard plastic on one end which allows it to pivot easily. Keeping it level so as not to let gravity move it from side to side, I grip it lightly, but firm enough. I can ask,"Show me the positive, healthy energies." Doing this out loud works. I begin walking in a straight line and it will swing, if anything is to be found, something like an invisible hand pushes it aside, or it is as if it bumps a wall. I can ask to be shown negative, or harmful energies, a water line, cables, etc. It is fun when, sure enough, I find out that it has been correct. DF sucks at this, the only one I know so far to have trouble with it, to her frustration. But she uses a bob on a chain and has had good intuitive results, dowsing bodies for imbalance, etc., I don't, but then I'm skeptical, or at least lack confidence in it. It is less obviously defined for me to "bob."

Over years, I have improved ability to transfer energy through me, often mostly through hands. On Wednesday nights I run a circle where we create wonderful responses putting hands over others heads. I learned this in India, and train people to do this. This can be projected across the room to the group, too. It is said that it heals and nourishes all being. I give this to my garden and yard, etc. One day, I decided to try doing this to a tree complex that we call "island of life" in the desert. It came back at me 10 fold. I learned something in that moment. The tree complexes are described here: http://thefreerangenaturist.org/2016/03/08/my-private-place-for-naturism-6/

I have been doing divination for some years using metal rods.   Mine are made of brazing rod bent 90 degrees and swiveling in a length of copper tubing.   I have had good success finding things like water pipes and wells using my rods.  They are also good for indicating other kinds of energy like auras and geological fields.   As someone mentioned, having confidence is a big part of success.

My land does not have a special place with energy better than the rest.  Its all good.

Dowsing story:
Once it just wasn't working for me. I was not sure. I was looking for the water line. I decided to dig a bit...no luck. I went with an unconfident reading. The backhoe smacked into the water line. Four or five foot fountain. I was the new guy on the block, and this was how I was introduced to the new neighbors, having to shut off their water supply for repairs. When ya know it, ya know it.

I don't speak or understand French.

Looks like a bank commercial. Yes?

Eyesup? It is in English with French subtitles. It is about environmental policy. She is nude to keep utilities down. The security guard isn't nude for any reason except to be naked.

Sorry. When I clicked on the url, the sound was off and when I saw the French website, I didn't bother to turn it back on.

Watched again with the sound on.
Yeah, two good reasons to be sans clothing, in one commercial. :D

In a perfect world, I could be walking about and asking people why the heck it is that they are wearing clothes, or just be naked except for my gun belt and hat..."Eeek! He's Naked AND he's got a Gun!!!"

Quote from: Jbee
. . . "Eeek! He's Naked AND he's got a Gun!!!"

Many interpretations of that reaction, e.g. the double entendre of John & Paul's riff?  ;)

Selected this thread and at the top of page two is Kayaker's (where are you?) comment about "fractal energy and harmonic symmetry", which made me back up in the thread to read that discussion.  It reminded me of the hike Jbee, DF and I di on the Hassayampa River.

We were carefully picking our way downstream, slippery rocks and mud, when Jbee announced from a spot on the bank, "There's a vortex here!". He was just standing there with a happy grin.

Like you John, I didn't sense anything. My abilities in that arena are not sensitive at all, but Jbee was as certain as could be. I took his word on it.
