I'm currently looking for a waterproof camera for such adventures. With my luck the Fuji would end up in a lake!
The cheap ones on the internet are quite good.
I used them for quite a while until I decided to go for something better.

I ordered a Bell and Howell WP10 12 mp from Wally-World to be delivered at the local store. I'll have to do some practice shots before the next road trip the middle of August.

Ah, interesting about the differential nude indulgence between you and the wife, NW.

I got the impression from the report that you were naked together.  Still, amazingly good that she's so tolerant.

You were right Jbee! As much as those here enjoy pictures with text the misses enjoys pictures with commentary.

So I will try soon to post more of the first excursion with the new camera.

Once again we're out and about only with some delays. The trip had been planned but with some unforeseen events it was decided to break this one up into small segments. So on Sunday as the wife attended her function I packed up the camper so we could get on the road as soon as the event was over. Things were all set and ready when she informed me that her sister would bring her to the storage place and we could leave from there. By the time they arrived I had the trailer hitched up and the engine running. A quick goodbye and we were on the way. As I mentioned we decided to split this trip up into shorter jaunts which ended up to be about 75 miles for each trip. So a few hours later when we arrived at the campground check in station the attendant handed us our parking pass and gave us quick directions. Sundays are good days as most areas are deserted by this time so camp could be set up and the vehicle parked to allow stealth nude time. Dinner was heated leftovers and the evening was spent sitting under the awning, listening to the sounds of the woods at night, walking around to look at the stars and drinking a bottle of wine. All done in the comfort of my own skin.

Monday dawned hot and humid and as with most parks that we stay in the crews were out early in the morning with trash detail and general clean up. Any nudity would have to be stealth until they were done or I left the campground. The weather report had called for severe storms later in the afternoon so an exploration of some of the area seemed to be the best alternative. Not really being prepared for a hike only short walks on some of the trails making my way toward the lake. Able to shed clothing (minimal as it was ) along the way soon the water was in sight. Not wanting to be spotted on the shore I remained stealth near the trees and found a spot in the sun. As I mentioned it was quite uncomfortable with the heat and humidity so into the water to cool off. I could see some fishing boats in the distance along the other shore but no one near enough to see a naked body emerge from the lake. The walk back was more like a leisurely stroll as the water was running low and there was no reason to hurry. By the time the camp appeared the sky was beginning to look dark to the west and soon thunder was heard in the distance. I did a quick grill job on some steaks as the misses did side dishes in the comfort of the A/C. We ate indoors as the storm approached and as the wind picked up I ran outside naked to put the awning up. Once again the misses was glad that wet clothes were not brought into the camper as I toweled off before resuming our meal. Later that evening when the storms had passed the awning came down again and the night was spent nude outside with wine, cheese and crackers. The rain did cool it off a bit but the humidity stayed up so Mrs. Walker decided to stay indoors, besides she feels like she is a mosquito magnet!

Tuesday dawned bright and sunny with the weather people promising more heat and humidity. The misses suggested we get dressed (groan) and go into town for breakfast and some looking around the shops before it got too hot for her. I agreed only because that would give me free reign for the afternoon. A local eatery provided me with a good old country breakfast; eggs, bacon, sausage and hash browns. The misses settled for poached eggs and a muffin before we were off exploring. It was kind of a mish mash of shops, some high end, antiques and the usual tourist things. After making the rounds a cute little bistro provided us with a light lunch as the heat was building. After eating the decision was made to return to camp so the wife could relax in the comfort of the A/C and I could go do my thing.

It appeared to be a good kayak day so I headed to the launch area only to find a truck parked with a cargo trailer attached which I could only assume contained canoes or kayaks as the ramp had silted in too much to launch anything larger. After unloading and seeing there was no one else around off came the shorts, the PFD got stored and the naked kayak adventure began. This time the plan was to head straight up the feeder river as there was a known skinny dipping place but the search was on for more of a beach to sun bathe. Paddling up the stream was easy enough as the current was light and after passing the point where I had stopped before every turn seemed to hold more promise of finding a suitable spot. Then just as in the movie The Sixth Sense where the young kid says " I see  dead people" I saw naked people. Well first two kayaks and a canoe followed by two naked man, a naked woman and a topless one. When they saw me the female nude reached for a towel and I yelled "Relax!" and raised myself enough to show them I was also naked. A few laughs and giggles and one of the guys waved me in and said "come on have a beer". Not being one to reject such an offer my kayak was turned and beached, introductions were made and a beer was opened for me. We both had the same idea of finding a place to catch some rays and they stopped at the first place that held some promise but were disappointed that the water was not too deep. I told them my plans of going upstream to a bridge found on Google maps to look for a place, if not I was going back to the area I had swam before as it was all right for one person. Thanking them for the beer and handshakes all around they pushed me off to explore some more. Going upstream there were a few places for sunning but not for swimming plus there were a few fishermen on the banks. After reaching the bridge I got out for a nature call and some exploring before heading back downstream to the lake.

Heading downstream was a easy journey as the current carried me along all that was need was an occasional paddle dip to correct course. I passed the couples again and by this time the other woman had lost her bikini bottoms. I gave them a quick description of what was discovered before heading away. Upon reaching the area I swam before it was time to soak this naked body in some cooling water. Then I spread out the mat to lay in the sun and soak n those healing rays! Some time on each side plus an occasional swim to cool off before heading back to the launch. The return was uneventful, still only the same vehicle as before so why bother dressing and loaded the kayak for the ride to camp. In fact why not just drive back to camp naked, things seemed that deserted. No one was at the check in station, and no camper within a few hundred yards of us. As usual the wife was surprised to see me walk into the camper naked but only asked if I had a good time. I answered with "boy, do I have stories to tell you at supper".

Sounds like a nice trip, nudewalker.

You got to explore naked, visit naked and catch some rays naked.

The naked truth is you had a great time.

Wednesday night supper discussion was lively to say the least. After I described the trip the questions started; "Were the girls pretty?", "What were their ages?"(late 20's early 30"s),  Did they have tan lines?, "You stopped for a beer?" and "What were they doing when you went back?". When she was satisfied with the answers we turned the conversation to packing up and moving on the next day. When we finished and cleaned up I started a fire but sat away from it because of the humidity and wishing to be in the stealth location to be nude. Mrs. Walker went inside to avoid bug bites and escape the heat. Around 10PM when the fire was dying out she opened the door and came outside in her panties. She laughed and said "I can't let those young girls have all the fun!". She proceeded to walk around under the awning and stared at the fire for a moment before announcing her intentions of going back inside before she got eaten alive. I answered that I'd be in when the fire dyed out. maybe five minutes later the peace was disturbed by the growl of a truck engine. They just drove by not paying attention to our camp at all. So when they were out of sight it was time to pick up the bucket and douse the fire. As soon as I entered thee camper I heard "See, if I'd have stayed out there I would have been seen with everything hanging out"! I told her not really, didn't even pay attention plus we would have heard them in plenty of time.

Thursday morning's coffee was disturbed by the wine of an electric motor. So slipping on a kilt before the golf cart arrived the camp hosts arrived to ask if we were leaving and could they clean the fire ring if we were. Then they added no one has your site reserved so take your time leaving. With that said I took it as an invitation to get another naked hike before departing. So I told the misses to relax and not rush as I grabbed the water bottle carrier and headed out to the area of the bridge that was explored the day before. I found an empty lot near the area so the kilt and shirt were left in the vehicle and off I went to see what lied ahead. Much of the access areas were rutted by vehicles trying to drive closer to the river. In fact the high waters from the early summer rains made the roadways impassable so I assume that's why the area was blocked off by cable. There was evidence of ATV travel but I carried on and enjoyed my morning jaunt. Besides the few deer I spooked a number of squirrels ran about, quite a few birds and the occasional chipmunk. A pleasant stroll through the wilderness and wildlife area the state had so thoughtfully provided but after a few hours of this garden of Eden it was time to pack for the next adventure.

There was an impromptu lesson in the craft that evening. After you shrugged off her concerns, or reassured her, do you think that it might have lightened her up? Would she join you in a safe setting, sometime? It is always nice to share experience and to see others find themselves getting a kick out of a naturist experience.

I find the number of deer is impressive. They seem either smarter or less numerous here...dunno.

To answer your questions Jbee, the wife has joined me in safe settings before such as a beach we found in Florida and some outdoor places. Besides being caught, which she knows is minimal, she seems to be a mosquito magnet. So much so she'll develop welts with severe itching when she gets bit. The only option for relief is a drug that makes her useless for 24 hours and so not wanting to miss out on anything she plays it safe indoors.

As for the deer, yes they are plentiful. Having no natural predators they have multiplied exponentially in this setting when you add in the rich landscaping many homeowners have done. The hunters don't thin the heard so we have a lot of vehicle damage in the rut season plus occasional bouts with Chronic Wasting Disease.

Now back to the trip report. Thursday was travel day to a park where it was easy to visit our daughter before she started her teaching duties. Staff had already reported to school with the children due Monday so until Labor Day this would be the last weekend to relax. Besides it meant another chance for Grandma to spoil the little one. By the time we had set up camp it was late so we opted for a carry out pizza from a place nearby. This being a busier campground it also meant any nude activities had to be stealth. I could angle things to provide enough cover to enjoy the night but if the place filled up as usual tomorrow all bets were off.

Friday was once again a beautiful day so after coffee and breakfast I set out to hike as the misses made plans to go to the daughter's after school. There is a loop trail that holds memories for me. I documented on another site that once while hiking with the daughter a rain shower popped up. Unable to find much cover I suggested we undress, put the clothes in my waterproof bag and finish the hike nude. She agreed, not like we had never seen each other nude before, and left what little cover we did have to hike in the rain. Even after it quit we continued until we almost reached the parking lot. She seemed nervous so I suggested we get dressed before arriving back at the truck. When we got back to the camper my wife said I hope your not going to bring wet clothes in here. The daughter answered that it's kind of hard when your not wearing any. There was probably an eye roll I missed. So even alone I was able to relive those memories as the steps we took were retraced. That evening we spent with the daughter and her family until the grandson's bedtime and we head back to our place. By that time the campground was filled, fires blazing all around us and people out and about; or in other words no time for any nudity outdoors.

Saturday was a lake day, and it is large enough to allow for naked kayaking once your away from shore and you stay in the no wake zones. Since we agreed on a late afternoon meet up that gave me the morning and some afternoon to paddle and explore. The rangers that patrol the lake are very adamant that kayakers and canoeists wear their PFD's so as to not attract attention I had mine on so maybe I'm not quite naked? Just the price you pay I guess. Dinner that night at the daughter's was fantastic. She is quite the cook and her hubby has a touch with the grill! Marinated chicken breasts done to perfection, scalloped potatos and an array of vegatables steamed and blanched!  Add a few bottles of wine that we supplied and the feast was on for the evening. Grandma finished off things by giving the little one a bath before bed. The camp was the same; full with people milling about.

On Sunday the pace was quite busy as people were leaving which at least held promise for some naked time that evening. We headed into town so the misses could do some shopping and I made a bee line for the local outdoor shop to pick the brains of the employees on trails and paces to kayak. Over the years the locals have provided me with a wealth of information as the store people tend to stray from the beaten path. I got some good leads but will have to wait for a return trip to the daughters before venturing out on those areas. When we did go to the daughter's house I did use her Wi-Fi connection to check e-mail, see what was going on here and maps of the places the store people told me about. I also looked at the areas we were going to plan ahead. Early evening was spent on the deck with a light supper, mostly leftovers from the nigh before, and relaxing. When it was time for a diaper change our daughters husband announced it was nakey time for the little one and the air and sunshine was good for his psoriasis or eczema can't remember which. He walked right off the deck, got his toy mower and began to mow the lawn. I had left my camera in the car so the only option left was the cell phone as I had to get a picture, orders from grandma! Since everyone but us was back to work in the morning we said goodbyes early and headed back to camp. Finally, an evening spent outside naked again, drinking wine and listening to the sounds of darkness.

Paint on PFD? Once I did consider painting myself in blaze orange during hunting season but afraid it would interfere with the feeling of nakedness. Not all lakes and waterways are quite as strict as this lake or perhaps it has become a target enforcement zone. I was given plenty of warnings by others with canoes and kayaks once they noticed my out of state plates. Now back to the trip.

Monday was another travel day but the early morning hours provided me with enough time to get a two mile hike without the added weight of clothing. By then the campground had emptied out and no one was stirring yet. I did stash a running kilt near the camper just in case I needed cover when returning to the camper. In fact it wasn't needed and also was able to pack up the outside before hitching up and leaving. I hesitated before dressing but the misses reminded me we would have to pass through toll booths on this leg and the attendants would have an easy view into the SUV.

The next campground held little or no promise for any naked time. Besides having lost many trees to the Emerald Elm Borer the place was like a parking lot. No matter how things were angled there was no hope for any nudity. But there were places nearby where at least I could find solitude and a place to be naked. In fact that evening on a walk near the campground there was enough solitude to enjoy things naked except for the bugs. None bit but they were just a pain. That night a storm came in and I di a quick jump outside to make sure nothing blew away. Tuesday dawned overcast and grey with some light showers. So I drove to the lake and planned to walk the beach which I found deserted. So dressed in a pair of tan through shorts and barefoot I headed west toward the harbor entrance. Soon I felt comfortable enough to remove the shorts as no one was on the sand and no boats were seen on the horizon. In the light mist it was better than working up a sweat as it kept things cool. Walking in the sand was easy as the waves from the storm had packed it down solid leaving only light prints. In one area a tree had fallen and to proceed on one had to wade in the water in order to pass the obstacle. On the other side much of the same awaited, a long stretch of deserted beach and a lone naked guy enjoying as much of it as he could. When the rock break wall was reached and still no activity in sight the feeling of safety had me turn and start the return naked. A short distance east and I spotted a woman's head on a path between some bushes. The firefighter/paramedic took over as I thought that she had fallen and was hurt. When I got near enough to ask if she was all right she answered fine, just picking stickers off my dog. After she stood up it dawned on me that I was naked but her comment was " don't your feet hurt being barefoot on the rocks?'. My answer was no, I haven't walked on any. Then I asked if it made her uncomfortable if I stayed nude to which she answered no and tossed a ball for her dog to fetch. That's when she said that "sunning topless on this stretch of beach when there were no crowds was her thing and she was not the prude many people in the area are". "They're so afraid that a little nudity will ruin the family tourist trade". "I bet even more people would come if there was a nude beach here". I put my comments in the knowledge of the economic impact Haulover beach in Florida has had on Miami. When she asked if I had a boat I answered a kayak and she said excellent. She  gave me directions to some secluded places that only could be reached by a small craft for some all over tanning. We parted ways at the tree, she was not going to take her sneakers off just to go another 100 yards. I thanked her and waded in, in fact worked my way to deeper water to enjoy some skinny dipping and cursing the fact the swim trunks were still in my hand. It worked out for the best as people were beginning to arrive so I could slip them on and emerge from the water clothed. Now I had to hope for sunshine and calm water. The rest of the day was spent visiting the local wineries for tastings. Among those we bought were Cab Sauv's, Malbec, Pinot Grigio, Rieslings and a new favorite Gewurztraminer. We also got some sweet wines for my wife's girlfriends as gifts on our return. That evening we uncorked a bottle with grilled pork chops, corn on the cob and fresh green beans from a local farmer. In other words, the finish of a great day.

Wednesday I decided to try and find the secluded spot describes the day before. The drive to the launch site was the most troublesome as the GPS kept taking me on dead end roads. Soon enough I was on the water and naked, heading for what I hoped would be a day in the sun. The paddle was as described and I found a small beach along the shore. The kayak bottomed out five feet from shore so I drug it up on the bank before spreading out a mat to lay on and tan. Before I did however I followed a path from the shore and into the woods. Not used much and in places hard to follow curiosity had gotten the better of me and traveling much farther than I wanted came upon a road with a small parking area.  Assuming that either fisherman or partiers use the path to reach the same spot maybe since the water levels are higher it has lost it's attraction for fishing or swimming due to it being so shallow? Not knowing how far I had gone or for how long it felt like a hike and I was relieved to get to the cooler for a drink. The rest of the afternoon was spent reading and soaking up the sun until the wife sent me a text that friends of ours wanted to meet for dinner. Answering that my return would be in plenty of time to meet at the restaurant I stayed till mid-afternoon before heading back to camp.

We met our friends that evening and were promptly seated. After a round of drinks were ordered we began to catch up on our lives. First, the story of how their daughter had a whirlwind courtship and got married. And how they never thought they would enjoy being empty nesters so much. Then they asked about our travels, how it must be nice to be retired, and then about our grandson. Since the most pictures of him were on my cell phone I opened the photo application and let her scroll through the pictures. When she came across the one from earlier in the week where the little one was in the backyard mowing grass naked she told her husband, "look, he's cutting grass bare assed like you want!". Then my wife adds, "Yes, just like his grand pa". hen she looks at me and says, "Since we've become empty nesters we quit wearing clothes at home". Then my wife adds, "He's naked every chance he gets". The topic of conversation ended when the waitress came to take our order and we went back to discussing families. After dinner my wife and her husband wandered off to the bar/lounge area to find seats and enjoy the music. The other two of us stayed behind to order another round of drinks and settle up the tab. In the meantime she asked' "Was your misses serious, you are naked a lot?". I answered honestly, told her of my hikes, kayaking and skinny dipping when ever I can. Her comment was something to the effect that she wouldn't feel comfortable anywhere but in her house or maybe the back yard. I said that may change, just enjoy it at your pace and the drinks were delivered along with the checks.

Thursday was another one of those hot, sunny and humid days as the misses found relief in the camper's A/C and I headed out to find another place to free range. This time I headed east along the beach and found a private spot so first order was to get into the water and cool off. The beach stayed deserted for a good part of the afternoon and from my vantage point people could be spotted far enough away that I could cover if necessary. According to my phone it was a 1.4 mile hike to get to this area and I got to spend much of the time there naked. In fact as when I prepared to leave a woman was headed my way so pulling on a running kilt to cover up the trek out began. When we passed she asked if anyone else was on the beach and how long had I been there. The thought crossed my mind that she was looking for some naked time then it dawned on me that maybe I had been seen? As I looked west clouds were beginning to form and thunder could be heard in the distance. Poor girl, looks like her beach time was going to get rained out. When I got back to the parking lot many were packing up and the gentleman next to me said that a storm was due in an hour. So I headed back to camp to secure things.

The parking lot guy was right, in about an hour the storm hit with it's fury. We watched from inside the camper as sheets of rain fell, vivid lightning and loud claps of thunder. For ten to fifteen minutes nature had her way and as soon as it started it stopped. Radar still showed cells headed our way in the future so I decided to walk about the campground to survey any damage. Other than a few tree limbs on the ground nothing major and my wandering took me to the edge where a trail started. Being able to see no fresh footprints were there I slipped off my shorts and top for a quick hike. The sun even came out as the hike progressed. In fact the picture posted in the bridges section came from this hike. Other than an open area where there is a parking lot walking was done without fear of being seen, assuming the storm had scared everyone away the hike continued. Heading back there were distant rumbles of thunder heard however the hike was completed before it got near.

Friday was another travel day but I did get the kayak on the water for some naked time before heading to our next destination.

This sentence reminded me of the time I was on a naked early morning cycle ride when a thunderstorm approached.
I was in such a hurry to get back before it struck that I omitted to dress at the point where the cycle path I was following went alongside the local commuter road.
