going to work naked
« on: September 02, 2015, 06:45:31 PM »
Arrange your circumstance just right and that's quite possible.     I only do it on occasion.    I'm thinking of doing it now.    After pulling out some fire wood I'll head off into the woods.  There's a large patch of golden seal where I want to clear land this winter for growing food.   It's been worked on at times by myself and a cousin.   But it's been several years since anything's been done and it's been spreading.    I think I'll go up and dig some for a few hours.    It's worth something like $20 a lb wholesale after drying.  A lot more retail.    I'm seeing 38-45 a lb on ebay for whole roots and $112 for powder,  but that includes shipping.   I have a mill so could grind it and offer it powdered.    It's a real good natural antimicrobial medicine,  helps with just about any disease.   It'll kill a sore throat pretty good.   Very strong flavored.  Not pleasant at all.    My neighbor likes to play a joke on people sometimes,   he'll sprinkle it on a  slice of bread generously and eat it,  pretending it's real good, in the presence of someone who doesn't know what it is.  Then they'll try it.                     Of course this job is only good for someone who's immune to poison ivy, since it all grows together out there.

Many years I have gone to and come home from work naked. Never had the chance, nor would it have been prudent, to work nude!

If I'd gone to work naked I would probably have had to arrest myself having worked in the Police

I do work around my land naked, cutting firewood, etc., but when I had a paying job I almost always had to be clothed.  It was either a government job or construction with a crew.

One Saturday I was in the government office catching up on paperwork so I worked naked for about 3 hours.  Probably risky because security sometimes wandered around through the buildings, and one of the other employees may have also wanted to catch up on paperwork.  That was a couple decades ago.  Now that I'm retired my "work" is around home and mostly naked all summer.

Rueben, your field of herbs seems a better yield than troubling to grow food!

I never drove to work naked, but have disrobed on the way home. When I used to teach school, I was too paranoid to consider that option. School systems can be extremely negative toward any such behavior. I found it kinda creepy. My former girlfriend worked at the school bus yard and lived by the river park, allowing her to ride her bike to work. A fervent nudist, she once wore a bathing suit under her florescent vest on a warm morning. She looked plainly naked under the vest, particularly leggy. Her fellow workers turned, wondering if she had lost her marbles, as she rode through the property. I thought she looked hot. She just wished she could ride nude. She had wondered if she could get away with it nude and I seriously wondered if she had tried. After the other staff made comments, she quit the idea.

I have had self-employment most of my days. I worked nude, except for times to meet customers, or employees. There were a couple of occasions when they were close friends. At one business, I had the office in my home for a time where I was organization and some dispatch. My wife and I met with my partner nude during meetings on occasion.

I'll be building a part-time private practice soon. I'll be slipping covering on and off for that. The sessions are generally intense enough so that the focus takes away the awareness of being stuffed in clothing. I think barefeet will be an option at a point, depending on the client. I'll see how this new format unfolds.

I've never gone to or from work naked, but like Bob I have been at work naked.

It was just before Christmas when everybody was going out for a lunchtime drink. I didn't feel like going and when it dawned on me that I would be alone there, it popped into my head that I could be naked there and nobody would know. Once thought of I had to try it.

When everybody had gone I decided to undress in the toilet in the adjoining enclosed car park and walked back naked into the workshop. In theory I had at least an hour before anybody returned. I wandered around enjoying the surreal feeling of being in my natural state at work. (I didn't do any work, it was my lunch break!).

I was a little nervous and decided not to push my luck for too long, returned to the toilet, got dressed and arrived at my bench. Almost immediately a cleaning lady appeared - that was something I hadn't accounted for! If she'd caught me out I'm not sure what would have happened but at the very least I would not be allowed to forget about it!

As I work in people's homes I very rarely get the chance to work naked. Just once or twice, though, when it's been an empty property and I've been confident of not being visited I've checked the door is locked against unexpected incursions and taken my kit off.
