Hi Folks. Patrick in HULL arrived
« on: January 19, 2016, 11:37:45 AM »
Hello, I'm Patrick and I am a lifelong naturist. That's almost 65 years and counting! I'm married and live in Hull which is a city on the Humber Estuary on the eastern side of England.
I enjoy almost 24/7 naked living and people who come to see us have to get used to that idea. In our home it's our rules, if we go into other houses we respect their rules, or leave. They have that option when they get here. If natural nudity offends then leave, I ain't covering my body to save your blushes!

Hello, Patrick.   Glad to meet you.   I'm glad you are willing to let visitors become accustomed to seeing human bodies.

Hello Patrick, you've certainly shared a lot of interesting things on the Naktiv board. I hope you'll have as much to say here!

24/7 lifestyle in an often cold environment. I like your tenacity.

Demanding clothing optional in your home, I also admire the tenacity and strong boundaries.

I tend to bend to make my guests comfortable at times. My friends have no problems with nudity and often join in. It kinda depends, on the mood, what we are doing, the weather. I usually ask them how they would feel about it. I wouldn't want to give a wrong impression, or stymie another value by closing a new relationship by my insistence. Examples might be, a new friend, but business, or a musical collaboration, etc. might need to warm up to the idea of the nudity around them. A friend who shares nudity around the sweat stops by and is greeted nude, is thrown off obviously by the unusual, or finds naked in that context sexy. Or, the couple that says they have no trouble with our nudity, but their entire stay, their eyes are looking at the ceiling. So, I ease into it.

Welcome aboard.

Hi Patrick,

I'm in the Midlands.
How fascinating to hear of someone so uncompromising that they do not dress for any visitors.  I am in awe.
Whilst your rules pertain in your house, do you follow the textile rule at work and in general society - I'm assuming so but would love to hear a little more of your naturist life.
