In the UK they are still making and installing trough urinals in spite of the growing habit of men using a WC cubicle to urinate rather than use a modesty separated individual urinal.

Well, I went to talk to the prosecutor today and am now officially on Deferred Adjudication.  Going against the advice of Bob Morton with the Naturist Action Committee, but with consent by one of the attorney's he steered me to.  It was a mistake.  I should have taken it to court, but then I am not much on gambling.  I live in Texas and they are as conservative as they come.
He was an ass, never even looked at me.  Anyway, the court costs, etc. came to the fine amount of $170.  But the probational period lasts for 4 months.  Not so worried about that, but he also stuck in an anger management class and 10 hours of community service.  My neighbor should be taking the class, I teach anger management, but I don't think I can certify myself.
So, are there any ideas for the community service?  I am going to reach out to NAC to see if they could use some unpaid labor.  I will also investigate beach clean-up weekend.  I could ride again in the WNBR, but I don't think that qualifies, though it is the definition of community service in my feeble brain.
I know this group enjoys a challenge, so let's put our collective heads together and come up with an appropriate way to comply with this ridiculous order and support our naturist community at the same time.

Makes you wonder what the future holds for the seemingly inevitable gender neutral restrooms on the horizon.

Beach clean-up on a designated CO beach appropriately dressed?
(court may think you are thumbing your nose at them though)

Volunteering in a protest march!
(pick any flavor)

If there are a CO resorts in the area, you could volunteer free labor AND get to spend some nude time meeting new friends.

I'll keep thinking. :D

I will check with Hippie Hollow to see if they have anything planned. Or organize a bare as you dare cleanup on an unofficial beach, but not sure how to make that official. The lady at the window said it didn't matter as long as it was a charity group. Keep the ideas coming.

Probably a designated registered non-profit. They have pre-existing government volunteer ways to take care of it. The Forest Service, state or fed could probably use you. Building trails for a couple of days P/U trash, burn invasive species. How much supervision would they require? I had ten hours for a traffic thing. I helped at a teen court one morning. I helped a friends psych department move to a new location. I worked a few hours and then they said that the whole thing was BS and signed off. I could have gotten out of teen court. All of my thoughts go to activities for kids, but YA CAN'T DO THEM NAKED! ;D

The NAC and the NEF are non-profit. If the creep wasn't interested enough to notice that you teach the course he suggested hat you take, he probably wouldn't notice or care about working for them. I'd start there. It would take more than 10 hours, but you might be able to raise money by walking, hiking, or sailing, or something for pledges when you complete it. Perhaps naturist organization's members could sponsor you?

I finally put the Christmas Eve police encounter behind me yesterday.  After 4 months of 'committing no offense against the laws of Texas or any other State in the United States', completing more than 10 hours of community service and attending an Anger Management Class, charges against me for Disorderly Conduct have been dismissed.
The clerk had a great sense of humor when reading the charges and congratulated me on getting the charges dismissed.
Of course, I hadn't committed any offense against the laws of Texas when this all began, only offending the moral fiber of a neighbor.  Moving on.

I'm so glad your anger at being naked is now managed, or at least you are trained to manage your anger at the jackass who complained about seeing a human being wandering about.

Generally I have very little good to say about any kind of "law" enforcement.  They are corrupt bullies everywhere.

Glad you got off of their radar without fake charges being filed.

I have heard it said that nobody who would apply for a job as a policeman is suitable for the job.

Except--ironically--walking the streets is exactly what Safebare can't do right now.

Safebare, I must have had an episode. In your telling of the tale I don’t recall you mentioning getting angry or displaying anger issues. Maybe I missed it. :-\

I am with Bob in the relief that you have managed to act proactively to mitigate any possible anger event. ;)

Phewww!

JOhn, I have always said the same about politicians.  ;)
We’ve been hearing a lot lately about qualifications for the job.
The 1st act in running for office automatically disqualifies you? ;D

No, Eyesup, the anger idea popped up only in the mind of the DA.  Everyone else laughed it off, even the psych professor who gave me the certificate of completion.  I want to respect the men and women in blue, but the more encounters I have, the further I get from that goal.  There are bad apples in every walk of life and they get the press time and sometimes end up at my door.
A while back I did get one officer that talked to me about being naked in the pasture, obviously feeding the horses.  A car had stopped at the gate to 'get a good look' and subsequently reported me.  The officer said that he didn't think I was doing anything wrong, but I should keep a towel handy just to keep the peace with neighbors.  This could have been the same neighbor, but I'm not sure.
Thanks again everyone, for the support.
