Sometimes, One Thing Leads to Another
« on: April 28, 2017, 08:13:14 AM »
One step at a time, DF and I wander further and further into the neighborhood and then decide to go visiting.

Interesting story.  Maybe you can convert the whole neighborhood.

i think most people don't actually mind nudity once they become acquainted.  Its the idea of nudity they have been taught to object to.

I did that once during an eclipse; late at night and all the neighborhood houses were dark so there was little or no chance of being caught. When I worked the night shift and got home about 4:30 AM and was able to do much like put garbage on the curb, check the mailbox even take a little stroll. Since I could drive home nude it was just natural. Since then the area has changed and it seems there is traffic all hours of the night with a lot of young commuters that travel thirty miles or so one way for work.

As much as I agree with Bob, that incidental nudity is not really as shocking as it once was with my luck (Murphy's Law) the encounter would be with the one person that would object! Wouldn't it be nice to live in a neighborhood that embraced nudity! Keep it up you two, maybe that could come true.

Talking with the neighbor must have caused a sense of relief. You told him more than a mere conversation would have.

One of the advantages of being at the edges of town.

Who was it on TSNS that often liked to walk the neighbourhood late at night?  It may have been Dave Balead (unlikely in UK weather!) or Larry Tanman....but I've a feeling it was someone else.  Anyone remember?  I have forgotten so many names of erstwhile 'departed' friends from TSNS.

I often did, though I'm sure I wasn't the only one. Don't get out at night so much now (actually early morning, 4/5-ish) as retirement has freed up the daylight hours to explore the countryside a bit more. I remember recounting a close encounter with a police patrol (saved by the famous SN sixth sense), maybe that's what you had in mind, John?

Oh yes, maybe it was your posts I remember, Pete.  You were also a long time member of TSNS, were you not?
Mystery solved.

Oh no... hang on, further memory jogging ...I'm pretty sure the person I'm recalling was in the USA.

I definitely remember Larry as a urban SN.
I think you are right, John, I also recall there was another here that practiced that.

Larry did a couple of forays, but was not a regular at it. Nightwalker...up in the plains of...Canada, I think, was mostly at night. Big bright stars in dark skies, but not so urban.

He has stopped in here, I think, maybe, it seems to me....

Yeah, he's on the memberlist and has posted a few times.

Maybe it's still cold in Canada. Nightwalker, Alf ??

John,

I think Ian has posted a few urban adventures. Maybe you are thinking of him.

Might have been Nightwalker (hence the name).  Definitely not Ian.
Who was the guy, (also lost along with TSNS) who was naked at work a lot on night shifts and in parking lots?  Bit mad but a determined naturist (that describes many of us!).
His avatar was a cartoon (I think, bit like Mr Chad).

I think you remember correctly. Detroit sounds familiar.
He did work nights and I seem to remember he worked in a basement.  :o
