« on: March 15, 2017, 04:40:58 AM »
Spent last weekend at the Eden Hot Springs, again. We went on a hike to explore new places.

Nice report.  Where are the cold springs and when will they hold an event again?  Amy and I might attend.

The list is very restricted. We have been going as other's guests. They are responsible for us. We just were put onto a list this weekend because the host took a special liking to us. He says that he will soon close the list again. It isn't a money thing. Give us some time to establish ourselves and maybe arrangements can be made.

Ok, I remember that.

That's a hike that looks more familiar to me.
There are even places where I can find water like that, the small spring, not the big pool.

The Tamarisk tree (aka saltcedar) is a bad word up here. It is considered a invasive species and people work hard at eradicating it. It takes over any water feature.

The mineral deposits are a good indicator for water. Usually underground, but occasionally residue from a flood that is evaporating.
