Free Range Naturism / Re: How was your month for Free Range Naturism?
« on: October 06, 2015, 03:21:25 PM »
I spent the majority of the month nude. I did have to wear clothes for nine days though, when I worked as a fill in for a friend that went on tour with his band. There were a few other times that I had to dress to go to town also.

This month started out ok, but the temps have been dropping too quickly! It's looking like outdoor free range nudism is going to be almost over for this year pretty quickly. I'm already really looking forward to February, when my wife & I will be heading south for our nude cruise in the Carribbean.

General Naturism Discussion / Re: Game/Trail Cameras
« on: October 06, 2015, 03:00:18 PM »
Game cameras are not at all uncommon around here,  but I keep an eye out for them when I'm in the woods.

As far as vehicle/deer collisions, this area is really bad this time of year. People don't so much ask if you've ever hit a deer. Instead they ask how many deer have you hit? I got three myself, just last fall. Two with my work trucks & one with my pickup truck. I have kind of lost track, but think my total deer road kill count is 13 or 14 now.

This is in the northeast PA/upstate NY area.

I didn't stomp it to death. That one got away..... for now.

I still can't get over my response when I stepped on it. I don't usually react that way, but it just caught me off guard at the wrong time I guess.

I'm glad you guys understand the need to get rid of a lot of them. I posted this same story on another forum & some "bunny hugger" tried to go off on me about it. I let him know in no uncertain terms, that I didn't care how he felt about it. I also explained about how destructive those things can be.

I was spending the afternoon working on some repairs to an outbuilding on my property. I was naked & barefoot, as usual. Several times I had to go back to my shop for tools or other supplies. On one trip back to my shop, I was almost to the side door & reaching for the door knob when there was a flash of movement near my feet & at the same time I felt my bare foot step on something hard. What had happened was, two chipmunks were chasing each other & came around the corner just as I got there. One of them ran right under my bare foot & I stepped on it's head! Startled, I jumped & let out a yelp..... well, I felt like it was more like a little girl letting out a scream! I'm glad there was no one else around. I was embarrassed enough at myself, without anyone else seeing my reaction!  :-[

The chipmunk population around here has gotten way out of control. I can see 4-5 any time I look around outside my house & they have been digging holes everyplace. I've declared war on those little bastards & I'm killing every one I can!   >:(

Free Range Naturism / Re: Driving Naked
« on: September 25, 2015, 07:12:37 PM »
I drive naked occasionally & very much enjoy it. Just last weekend, my wife & I spent the weekend on the east end of Long island for a niece's wedding. I mentioned to my wife that I was thinking of driving home naked & she didn't like that idea one bit! Then she said, "We have to get gas. How can you be naked to do that?" I gave in & didn't drive home naked. As it turned out we got our gas in NJ & you can't pump your own gas in NJ, so I could have been naked & just covered up with something while we were at the gas station.  >:( I shouldn't have listened to her! The thought of driving naked thru one of the biggest cities in the country (New York City) was quite exciting! Maybe some other time.

As far as G-strings or other small underwear, I've bought a couple from here: http://www.skinbikini.com/men_bikinis.html
They aren't cheap, but seem to be of very good quality. The only problem is, I haven't even worn them other than to try them on. I got them before our first nude cruise with the thought that I'd wear them when nudity wasn't appropriate, but never needed them. I don't wear underwear under my normal clothes either, so haven't used them that way at all. It's too bad too, because they are very nice & comfortable when I have had them on.

That was an interesting video, but not something that I would have much desire to do. Rock climbing is a good challenge, but the risk is too much.

That's what I figured would be best.... private land during the early bow season.

Free Range Naturism / Hunting Naked?
« on: September 22, 2015, 01:36:26 PM »
Has anyone ever tried it?

Over the years, I have always enjoyed the challenge of hunting & hunted using more & more traditional equipment. I like going more primitive instead of modern. Having taken deer with modern shotguns, rifles & compound bows in the past I now go to the more traditional type of arms most of the time. I have harvested one deer with a recurve bow & too many deer to count with 18th century style flintlock rifles. I would love to go as far as trying a spear, but that might not be practical due to game laws. It seems like a progression to hunt more primitive adds to the challenge & gives a more back to nature feeling.

Since I have been doing almost all other activities as possible naked & hunting season is fast approaching, I got to thinking about trying it. In this area, the weather starts to turn a little too disagreeable for most of the hunting season to try it naked, but bow season starts in just 10 days. I checked the weather forecast & it's looking like temperatures may be cooperative. I have a couple deer stands that I'm going to try hunting from naked, if the weather holds out.

So, again.... has anyone else ever tried hunting naked?

My kinda month, too, but not as productive. I curious how the shoe usage was during that time, considering the chores?
Jbee

I had to wear a pair of boots twice while mowing a steep bank & while working those two days. There were a few times that I put on a pair of sandals when I had to go to town. Other than that I didn't wear anything on my feet. I do have to admit that there were a few times that my feet got sore from some of the activities. I already reported about having sore feet after a hike. I also had sore feet a few times from walking on areas of ground that had stubble from being mowed, but not often to prevent the growth from getting old & stiff. That stubble tends to want to puncture your feet if you step on it wrong. Lol It is surprising how much you can walk on it without too much trouble. It's when you're busy & hurrying that you end up stepping wrong & injuring your feet.
Just yesterday, I started noticing a little sharp pain on the outside bottom of my right foot. At first, I thought that I might have stepped on something that stuck in, but that was not the case. When I took a good look at it I noticed that the skin was kind of like a chapped callous that was starting to crack. I've been putting some skin lotion on it & it's improving quickly.

Here's a few more pic's I got off my game cameras:

Glad to hear that it ended well for you. I can understand not wanting to go thru that again, though.

Well, for me the month of August was great!
The weather was actually pretty nice here.
Being kind of retired & not having to go anywhere very often, I spent the majority of the month clothes free. I didn't even have to get dressed more than a very few short hour a week. I spent the month doing yard work, making repairs on the house here & there, working in my shop rebuilding a mower deck for a tractor & going on a few naked hikes. I also spent quite a lot of time turning the dirt over in my field , picking rocks (back breaking work), fertilizing & seeding it. Then I put up fence & set up a sprinkler system. All of this work was done naked.
I did have to spend two entire days dressed though. I was asked to cover for a guy at a company that I used to work for while he moved two of his kids to college for the start of the new school year.

My best guess would be that I had to wear clothes for about 30-35 hours of the month.... maybe a little bit more.
Wow.... when you spend that much time clothes free & then have to put clothes on, they just don't feel right! You really notice every place that they pull & bind on you & you can't wait to get them back off!!!  ;D

Free Range Naturism / Re: This sign got me to thinking....

I agree that the word "people" seems like a more common & friendly word than the phrase "human beings."

There is an absolute expectation that some of the signs would be taken down & may have to be replaced occasionally. The hunting club I belong to has "posted signs" printed up on vinyl with the club info on them. I'm planning to try to locate a company to print these clothing optional signs on vinyl on a roll like you can buy posted signs. If they can be purchased cheap enough, they could be replaced when needed until the area gets a reputation for being clothing optional.

Not trying to make money off the idea, but if I could get signs printed in a large enough quantity & sell them, I might be able to get the price to be very affordable. People could use the signs for the purpose we have discussed here or just use them to post their private property. Do you think there might be enough interest by other naturists/nudists?

Here's the latest revision of the sign:

Lot's of great input here!
It's definitely a work in progress.
I'm making adjustments & looking for opinions again.

I also don't want to risk getting arrested again. Once was enough.

Oh Dave, You've done it again...

...you know that there are folks here who are not aware of your arrest story, so now you are going to have to share that again :D

Have fun,

Ian.

Well, now that you've opened that can of worms..... let's hear it.
I'm a newbie here & haven't read about that "adventure", but would like to, maybe, learn from the story.

Thanks for the input. I made some changes. Which of these versions do you think is better?
I know it's still a bit "wordy," but I'd rather have people understand what a naturist area is.
