Yes, that's correct RIC. There is a thread on this site that is called "No Backup" dedicated to leaving you clothing behind. There is an added sense of freedom and/or an edge to the experience of nude hiking. I go no backup whenever I can, but it is good to carry a minimal cover for the sun on my shoulders.

This place has only a couple of houses near, but out of sight as best that I can determine. Their property lines are a distance from the wash. After that, it is remote, that even by a very slight chance no encounter is expected. If there might be an encounter, nothing would be done, if anybody really cared to try. As we know, two in one hundred might object to someone minding their own business out there. That isn't reckless. I don't reasonably expect to see anyone. I'm carrying a water bottle and camera, shoes and hat. DF most likely the same.
