The Philadelphia World Naked Bike Ride is coming up. Anybody in the area planning to attend?

Seems to have been a large turn out with good weather for cycling.

All kinds of bicycles ridden by all types of folks in the Philadelphia naked bike ride last Saturday. The camera operator was a little annoying with sniffling and clearing the throat, but 13 min. of free riding in Philly.

At about the 12 min. mark there are a couple of big wheel bicycles, aka Penny-farthing. You would have to pretty quick to get off that thing in an emergency.

The few advance articles I read about the event didn’t even mention whether the police would be there to monitor the state of dress and ticketing those they felt overdid it. Unlike the ride held here. It just wasn’t mentioned in the ones I read.

An issue of N magazine just arrived, and it has a very nice article about the Boston WNBR, which took place in July, unfortunately while I was away in Europe. My friend Dan has participated in prior years, but he was with me! I've met the author of the article a few times, and he's a literate gentleman (though as I recall, his wife said he's a vicious Scrabble player).
