Made my day. Guy had to pay retribution 50 smackers, a nice dinner for two! Certainly a amazingly wonderful step in the correct direction.

The guy got whacky uncivil and won't get out there again, but what/who were the nasty comments? I take it that they were supportive comments for the jerk, or outraged emboldened naturists? How many?

I would have loved to have see the expression on the face of Mr. Sam Smith, when the judge laid it out for him.

I would agree that its an 'establishment-positive-to-naturists story' so good stuff there.   However, if anyone was abusive to someone or a group like the offender in the article, they might well be arrested and fined for disorderly behaviour, assault or whatever.  So whilst one must compliment the court for accepting the naturism, putting it aside and not letting it cloud their judgement, I don't think any matter of principle prom-naturism has been raised or served here.

It would be different in another time. The judge ain't "anti-". The judge recognized a lawful assembly.

Those people standing outside of that nude indoor swimming meet harassing nude swimmers are one more step back and away, now.

Nobody would get 50 bucks anywhere in this country in restitution for such behaviors. People get away with that behavior toward nudists in this country.

Don’t believe that we’re an enlightened country. The fact is that anyone practicing legal nudism will find themselves swarmed by police when they are seen and reported. Nude swims have had to be cancelled permanently or ban families with under 18s because of protests from paedo Hunter groups and videos of participants entering venues of nude swims and subjected to verbal abuse are online and zero action has been taken against the perps who have outed private individuals as naturist branding them paedos in doing so. This is a one off little victory and until pigs fly it will be the only one
