I'm working it out to be a post on the website, then I'll post the link here.

I was hoping to get some discussion and feedback here, enriching the final draft before publication.

Ineffusive, effusively barren, lack of effusiveness, yes, the exploitive computer pirate hardware systems finally beat me down, I found myself dragging my tail in defeat, dispirited. Bill Gates, once a pirate, always a pirate. The problem is apparently in my ill adaptive older Word. It works, but they want me to start paying and it isn't always translating into the internet. Planned obsolescence, an unethical profiteering, me thinks.

I have used Open Office since I retired and didn't get free WORD from my job.  It does all the things that Microsoft Office does, but it's free.   Bill Gates can pound sand.   I actually like Open Office Writer better than MS Word.

Now that I look at the download site I see that I'm about 10 revisions behind.  I guess I need to update mine.
Give it a try.  It doesn't cost anything and you won't have to pay MS.

So, here it is, an updated version of the post that I had ready to go, but didn't transfer from Word about GERMS!

https://thefreerangenaturist.org/2023/11/05/germs/

Like to see discussion about this here. You may or may not agree with some of it. I've just been studying and doing some online classes and documentary interviews with doctors and popped up with another idea about why clothing is bad for you. I was after health and welfare with longevity and came up with this along the way.

OHHHHH BUGGERRRR!!!!
I just posted another diligently researched post of about 350 words in response to your stimulating article, Jbee, about the weight of bacteria on earth and how insignificant we humans are by comparison and only one line of it actually posted.  Grrrrrr  >:( >:( >:( >:(
Should have done it on Word first.

Germs   I remember when my 8 year old son came home terrified of the kitchen counter. I seriously mean

Your son's fear of microbes is what he was taught, most of it wrong.  The culture still preaches fear that makes people unhealthy.

Humans need somewhere around 10,000 species of symbiotic gut microbes (germs) to do the heavy lifting of our digestive systems and take care of other needed health systems.  That compares to only around 100 species of harmful microbes.  We aren't born with any of the needed symbiotic species.  We have to acquire them from parents, other humans, and the environment.  Modern western culture has a growing list of epidemic and sometimes fatal diseases caused by being overly clean.  The lack of necessary microbes can be very unhealthy.

Don't wash your hands.  Take advantage of situations that allow acquisition of small quantities of gut bacteria from other people.  When using a public restroom, for example, it would be more healthy to lick your fingers clean instead of washing your hands. Modern medicine now frequently does "fecal transfer" (exactly what it sounds like) for people suffering from insufficient gut bacterial.

Your son would be more healthy if he hadn't been taught to fear contact with the world.

Here is a science lecture on this topic.  Very useful information.

Our birth contains the bacteria of our mother host. Before that, we live in a vat of our own urine, because it is so healthy. I found a bit on urine therapy, its amazing immunization, as it interacts with the microbiome. It was lectures from a Doctor Group who advocates drinking the stuff. He's surely correct, but I'd have to be desperate for a cure.

For years the disinfectant and washing powder companies have been trying to scare everyone into their products by promising to kill 99.9 per cent of germs and make your home hygienic, especially if someone has dared to open a door or window! Shock! Horror! Then, I don't know if it was some research or plain consumer backlash, word got round that trying to keep your children pristine and clean all the time is not only impossible but bad for them. Suddenly the leading soap powder brand was advertising "dirt is good for you", with everyone ging out and rolling in the mud and getting filthy. Of course the message was still to use their brand to do the clothes wash, but at least they ditched the "all germs are evil" approach.

Never saw that, but things seem less corrupt where you live than our corporate run system. Covid has had us washing and avoiding each other. But then a recently, the CDC finally popped up and said that it isn't spread by touching surfaces!

Modern day myth shows me that we humans haven't learn very well. One big reason that I got into teaching was to teach children to think for themselves and question authority. Fear based foolishness happens as we laugh at our ignorant ancestors.

Unborn children are essentially devoid of gut bacteria.  Natural childbirth usually results in the child beginning life with a face full of mom's poo.  That jump starts his digestive systems.  In recent times the prevalence of cesarean births, especially in the US, have led to generations of mothers who themselves are deficient in gut bacteria.  All that is explained in the science lecture on the link provided above.

Yes.  Most of what we are told by corporation marketing programs is either wrong, or very wrong.  All that "hand sanitizer" promoted during the "covid" scare was very wrong.

My source was a Dr. Group, who gets around the internet quite a lot. The kids are in a bag urine, that's why they are so soft and smooth when they come out. Urine, he says when re-consumed has a biotic response in the immune system, which is good for tykes and their adults. You can live on it for months.
