Greetings from east central Scotland

Hello Karla & Stuart.  It's great to see you are back online - your adventures are very inspiring!

So I thought I'd introduce myself.  I see myself as a free range naturist at heart. Although I have dabbled in "club" naturism at club swims, I found that I much preferred to be naked in the great outdoors.  I also found the cost of getting to swims quite expensive (Fuel, entry, memberships etc).

I suppose I'm quite fortunate that in living in East Central Scotland I have quite easy access to lots of nice scenic free range naturism friendly places such as Perthshire hills, Ochills etc.
Unfortunately, being between employment at the moment means that funds ( and motivation!) are a bit limited, so can't really afford to travel far!  I have has some free range naturist adventures powered by (pedal) bicycle though - including one in the snow!  Despite my nickname I haven't partaken in naked archery!

So anyway, that's me saying Hello!

Welcome to the forum. As an ex-resident of Perthshire, I know just how lovely the country is where you are, however as someone who lived there for a while without a car, I also know just how frustrating it can be!

Are you near a railway station? There are some excellent hillwalks that are easily accessed by rail, especially if you have a bike and/or a tent.

I really miss the Ochils myself. I used to go paragliding there. I haven't actually ever taken my driving test, whenever I've got close to taking it, I've ended up moving and having to postpone it again. It became even more important to have a car for activities like paragliding and scuba diving. I remember when we got our car in Perthshire. It was evening and we decided to drive the route we normally walk to the nearest munro.

Thanks for the replies Karla and Stuart.  I do have a car, just having to minimise using it due to lack of funds.....
