May ha been a good month. I've managed several local walks with only one encounter. A jogger ran across the bottom of a field I was walking across. HE stopped and stared in disbelief as I walked diagonally across the field taking a different route from him. No doubt he's been telling friends and family of his sighting.

Our local Midlands Naturist Ramblers had a fabulous walk with good weather a couple of weeks ago. 35 turned up including a number of women. We also had two well behaved dogs and an eight month old baby being pushed around in an adventure buggy. (We like to start them young!)

British Naturism has a weekend in Melrose in Scotland called The Gathering. 19  Gatherers set out on the Saturday morning to conquer the local summits. This is not the Highlands but the 424 metre hill was an enjoyable foray with the reward of good weather, good company and wonderful views. We met a number of other people most of whom gave their standard non-naturist greeting of, "I'm not brave enough to do that" and "You make me fell over dressed." The photo below is me at the top of one of the hills.

I have two possible group walks before the end of the month.... weather permitting

Davie, Melrose looks like wide open spaces. Does it have that senses of being that kind of free?

Bob, Lo siento. Records like that are so tough to digest. We are getting into June, generally, the withering heat, the Tucson version of winter blues, uncomfortable. There is however a wonderful morning and lovely naked evenings during those times and being naked cures, or arbitrates, most of the problems. It is a good time to hike the forest in the mountains. Nineties, we hike in the lower elevation scrub oak areas. Triple digits here in town, we go up to the alpine areas, like Mt. Lemon.

The sweat is generally 170F give or take. It feels cool to step back out into 105F. The shade can bring a chill. A cool shower outside is chilling shock to refreshing. In/out, in/out.

Mornings under the shade of the big eucalyptus, on the patio, is very pleasant. The earth burns feet out in the summer sun. Black rubber flip flops sting when put to use after sitting out in the direct sunlight.

There are record drought conditions. We all pray for monsoon. Plants are having it tough. Just the opposite of Spokane, which seems typical.

Melrose Eildon Hills rise out of the fairly flat countryside with the summit giving a theoretical horizon of 45 miles. It was nowhere near that being rather hazy. But yes standing on the highest point certainly a glorious sense of freedom, even more so being free of clothes.

May has sucked for being outside naked.  We have had record cold and record rain -- often with a cold wind.  May 31 may be our 2nd day of 70F (21 C), but cloudy all day.  Double the usual amount of rain every month this spring, and the forecast for the next two weeks doesn't look much better.    .

19 took part in a naturist walk in Staffordshire on Sunday. It started cold and we had a couple of showers but it warmed up  and we had a wonderful day out. May has been OK for me.

It was a middling May for me. I score days with anything from time in the garden long enough to finish a crossword, or with a naturist event (including indoor) up to a full day at a club as one day, and this May came to 19, when a really good May came to 30.

The frustrating bit was that we spent a whole week of brilliant sunshine on a cruise boat on the Rhine and Moselle. That had its own compensations, but no naturism!

The score here should be measured in negatives, that is, the norm, majority of time, is nude.

I spent lots of time here at the house, other than leaving for social and shopping. Out to dinner and dancing, visit the new grandchild. Dang, I get such a high chock full of brain chemicals when I hold that tiny bundle.

The month was peppered with birthdays and celebrations, now that I think of it!

For our B-Days DF and I took off to a forested canyon in the Huachuca Mountain's west side. There was nobody but us and the Border Patrol for three days. Right just before we left, a troop of six Jeeps cruised by. We just stood behind the truck and sat in a chair as they passed. It was just so perfect there, calm, quite, wonderful weather, freely naked for miles.

The Sweat has been open each Sunday with a few naked friends stopping by for sauna. They are enjoying a place to get free of clothing and walk around in the air. It was 105F the first day. After spending some minutes in the sauna at 170F getting out to 105F was refreshing, especially in the shade of the big eucalyptus. I've been mostly sleeping with no sheets over me. Just a very naked natural feeling. I can be barefoot, too, in this urban yard, until the sun bakes the paver bricks and the earth. I put down carpet on a couple of pathways for that.

Drought has everything parched, but the blue skies are nice. By the time monsoon comes, if it is good, we'll have been praying for rain.

Just read your reports to DF. She tells me to tell you all, Hi There!

May has been generally hectic, free moments rarely seem to coincide with fine weather. I did manage a couple of hours ramble in the new forest arround the middle of the month and managed to walk a bit of the monarchs way in wiltshire for an hour or so..  weather forcast for fiirst half of June looks a little damp but life generally shows signs of becoming less hectic with more chance of actually taking  advantage of whatever fine weather we do get.

Looking at the maps and google, there are several "National Parks" along the way and most of it is country fields. Are those places surrounded by countryside conducive to nude hiking? 615 miles!

Lately weather here has been pretty abysmal.  I've clocked up nude time gardening and indoors but no hikes since me and Yeldew, Mid may.
We're having a small burst of sunshine today and so I went outside not quite naked (a wrap round the waist to keep the wofe happy whilst we had lunch0 then fully naked but then I had to go inside to see to an urgent email.  So did that and I thought "I'll just catch up on the FRN forum quickly and then get back into the sunshine"  What AM I doing sitting at the computer whilst the sun is out!!!  And guess what, this being UK, the clouds have blown in and the hot sun is gone.  Still nice and nude friendly temperature though.  So...4pm, time for a cup of tea and a slice of cake on the patio!

Weather still rather mixed but improving towards more typical June weather.  Gardening and housework naked today untroubled by the dear spouse who was upstairs doing all manner of stuff with me downstairs and outside (down and out??) - sunny spells with windy, cloudy interludes.

Wow June 13, 2022, 43 degrees (5 C), rain all day, 20 mph wind.   Triple our usual June rain total, and not even the middle of June yet.  Flood warnings for all the creeks, rivers, and low areas.  .

You guys in Arizona get all the sun.

Airconditioner broke in half the house as the opposite of your situation drifted in at 110F.
DF is watching a friends house with a swimming pool, thank the cosmic order.

We're just holding out for the monsoon. May be heading to the mountains for a few days.

Temps like these shattered record highs back in 1989. It keeps getting hotter on a regular basis. since.

We've had a "heatwave" in the UK with Tuesday and Wednesday dry with sunny periods then Thursday was 'scorching' about 30C 86F.  And that was it.  That's considered a heatwave in the UK!  Today has been raining quite hard on and off all day!.. However, I've had a lot of naked time in the heat - told my wife to stop complaining!  Which, in truth, she did very little of (Incrementalism at work...or possibly attrition!  She is objecting less and putting up with my nudity more these days) and today she slept late so I remained naked* and she was out in the afternoon.
* = It's funny, if she's in bed and I'm up earlier, often the way, she doesn't usually seem to notice I'm naked until she's up and dressed.  Women, eh?
Nevertheless, were nearly at the solstice and haven't really had a decent run of good weather this year so far.  It's been a very indifferent May and June and looking ahead, July is always mixed and in August you can feel the summer draining slowly away.  Let's hope we have a late and extended burst of summer soon.
