That's the theme of this year's group trip. Awosking Falls is a big tourist site, but Dan, Milt, Sheldon and I found an abandoned powerhouse downstream which was worth a visit.

I love water mills of all types.  I saw a special on PBS years ago called Ben’s Mill about a mill somewhere in Vermont. It showed how it worked and how it was still used, at least back in the ‘70’s. I wonder if it is still functioning.

The ingenuity of the past is fun to observe. So many things like that are getting hauled off for scrap metal.
