This is a grand reminisce ... I thoroughly enjoyed that perfect day and my great free range naked UK trip!!!!

This was also my experience, confirmed further when I met and sailed naked with hymie in Louisiana.

Well, this thread caused me to review my photos from that trip, and I believe the person in the lead in this picture is John-johnbare.  Also at that event was nib & cath, and Dave!

Thanks for your Ohio trip reports, nudewalker.  My wife and I also RV camp and flat-water kayak, and similarly we launch then make our way around the shore to find secluded beach areas we can enjoy (me) naturally.  You mention a running kilt and tan-through shorts ... is that kilt from runningkilts.com?  I just bought one of those this summer and it is quick becoming my standard, non-business, uniform.  Previously, my standard was a pair of loose fitting, navy colored, nylon swim trunks with the net cut out.  But, I'm really liking this running kilt.  Who makes your tan-through shorts?  I'm not the 'sun worshiper' my wife accuses me of being, but, I DO really enjoy having an allover deep tan, and that DOES require a lot of naturally clad sun exposure!

What do you other folks wear when free range?  Are you decorated?  Do you wear jewelry of any sort?  Do you have tattoos?

I don't and don't intend to.  My 34yo daughter is covered in tattoos and used to have excessive ear/nose piercings ... but, these things detract from her natural beauty, in my opinion.  So, I don't understand why people do this.  I think it's done with the intent to 'enhance' attractiveness or to 'make a statement' (like bumper stickers, which I also DON'T have), but, I think these things rather distract and detract from an otherwise natural beauty.

I am aware of 'appearance,' however, and do make effort to 'enhance' my natural appearance.  I comb my head hair regularly, shave my face, and shave parts of my bits.  I shave the shaft to it's root, and have adjusted the shaving of the scrotum to only shave the textured 'colored' part.  I 'like' the resulting appearance, and I feel good about the way I look.  I used to shave the entire scrotum, but, found that in pictures, the 'white' sides of my scrotum would 'stand out' noticeably as being 'white' while all the surrounding skin and bits are uniformly darker in color.  I could never get the scrotum white sides to tan.  So, I let that portion of hair to re-grow.  I like the resulting appearance better as it is uniformly tan/dark.

July?  Had a great deal of FRN in July ... the annual 2500 mile round trip driving naked to Michigan and back ... with 5 days naked kayaking and pontoon boat rental on Lake Quachita in Arkansas ... after that trip we had 3 weeks at the beach condo-timeshare (although I commuted naked to work 1-1/2 hours each way, 4 days a week) ... always naked indoors, naked early morning walks on the beach, naked late evening walks on the beach ... full moon rising and sparkling in the surf ... naked weekends on the beach, and naked evenings for about 2-1/2 hours on the beach after work ... sun on skin, water on skin, breeze on skin ... weather was most pleasant in the range 78F-92F ... it was an excellent naked month outdoors and for once, my butt is as tan as my arms ... no hint of paleness there!

We are scheduled for 2 more weeks at the beach in September!!!

I copied and have Corbie's Secret Naturist Handbook that I downloaded in early 2007, and I was coincidentally reviewing it last month ... It remains QUITE relevant to the CRAFT of being naked and unseen in public places ... what we do ... it even includes 30-40 trip reports which sound similar to our experiences.

I recall Corbie never returned to Lookee's forums, because Lookee vigilantly followed the discussions and could recognize Corbie's presence, regardless of screen name, and would immediately block/cancel the account.  But, he was the original online SN pioneer ...

Just read the entire thread of your French Trip, JOhn ... excellent documentation as for your canal trip reports!  I thoroughly appreciate the AMOUNT of TIME you are able to spend naked on your fine trips.  I especially enjoy the excursions to the beach, reservoir, and frog pond natural areas ...
