I got out to do some Free Range bicycling again in August.  This is at a public trail near us called Cheney Wetlands Trail.  On my most recent excursion I met a nice middle age couple walking the path.  They said they have never seen anyone riding naked.  The woman seemed especially enthused.  She got out her cell phone and took my picture.  I smiled for her camera.  Over the years of hiking and biking public trails I have encountered far more approval than objection.  All in all it was a good day and a good month to be naked in the wild.   I'm not really into "secret" naturism.

These images are linked to MeWe, a social media where I often post nude images.

Does my heart good to read of you on a bicycle. I couldn't imaging the guy that we met in Colorado up on one and off on a trail.
No state nudity laws out there, I assume. I've got a tour of Northwestern hot springs on the bucket list.

On the third, went down into Redington Pass to take advantage of the high waters from the rains, then DF went back east for a a family thing for a couple of weeks. I just hung out naked getting projects moving. I spent a couple of weeks ill from those two covid shots and just wasn't up for much.

At the end of the month, we took a friend up to Redington for the day after some rain.

DF got a call offering passes to Aravaipa Canyon. Apparently some of the other people going got covid and couldn't make it. They though of us. We began last day of the month hiking into the west entrance. Three days perfect weather after some rains. It was however a mess once we got in there. A years drought followed by three major floods devastated paradise, so the hike was more a bushwhacking journey, instead of a peaceful walk in the park. The entire journey we made about one mile per hour and worked hard for that. Very few others, so remained naked until the stars came out and it chilled. Enough and enchanting enough for a story on the blog eventually.

Got back to civilization tonight after no cell service or GPS and got a text that Granddaughter and DF's daughter, both got covid while in New York at a wedding. Dang the stuff seems ramp-id.

Well, as the autumn is now drawing in and naturist opportunity rapidly going into hibernation for another winter, we have had a few days fairly unseasonably warm weather in the UK.  Whilst my recent activity hasn't offered a huge amount of chances to be naked in nature, this afternoon was sunny but autumnal and I was able to get naked whilst mowing my lawn which takes about 40 minutes.  Whilst I was comfortable generally, I have to admit that I was quite glad to put my overalls back on at the end as it was getting quite cool under a pall of cloud that had moved in whilst I was mowing.  Anyway, opportunity well seized!

Gosh! No unread items today (Sat 30/10)!
Are we all off for a weekend hike?
I've got no monthly news - been a remarkably textile fortnight or 3 weeks as have been all over the place with non-naturist stuff.
Looking forward to hearing from some of you soon.  I'll try and get clothes off asap!! :D

Were you all wearing scary costume/accessories & stuff at the club party, F&C?  One might imagine a naturist Halloween party is the same as any other naturist party as costumes are not really a part of the naturist canon! :)  I guess scary food is OK. Oh yes!...  and scary body painting.

Now there's an existentialist nude philosophical question.....Does body paint equal being clothed?  And if you paint clothing on your body are you still naked? :D :D

I did a couple of walks during October and joy of joys a seven mile walk today across fields and along tracks. It was wall to wall sun and hardly any breeze. No option really than to walk as nature intended.  It just started to cloud over as I finished and during the walk I didn't see a soul. (Perhaps because its All Soul's Day today!)

There usually is a bit at the beginning where people are dressed up but there weren’t so many this time. Possibly that’s to do with having a lot of new people with us this year who didn’t know much about it. A few of the regulars and Halloween enthusiast crowd did dress up. Food wasn’t so scary, sweet treats although I got a surprise when I bit into a jam doughnut and find green jam oozing out instead 🤣

I also had to endure a karaoke segment and I helped my fundraising partner with a raffle. Pre party activities involved a silly spooky walk that used to be put on for kids but someone insists on continuing with them followed by a short fireworks display and some hot soup.

October gone already!

Well, brought it in backpacking Araviapa Canyon, The next week, we spent four days at the hot springs, but haven't been out on a hike since.

The weather has been perfect, mid-80F's nice evenings, my favorite dry weather. We have been busy with this and that. I'm designing and planning construction of the sauna building and heater and checking cost to submit to the TFSA board. DF and I did a home tour of water-harvesting techniques and connected with the staff, so designing the garden of drought tolerant, edible plants with swales and basins, etc. has been a very busy creative time. Fortunately, it is outside, nude, in the sunshine and yard. Lots of prepping. The yard will be a wonderful place to hang out nude, in time.

We have been getting out to the desert at the Terra Sante community to the weekly sweat in their acoustically enhanced sauna called the turtle. Six to a dozen naked people, singing, dancing, chanting and drumming in sweltering heat, staying healthy.

There's a baby brewing in my son's new wife's oven, we were told, so some family activities have happened. I keep smiling, a lot, but family functions do require clothing. Otherwise, days on end, I have just not been dressed. I did two weeks fasting and didn't leave the house, but that one day doing the tour. I don't drive during fasts and had no reason to go to the grocery.

Halloween had us in medieval for me, and goddess for DF, not the naked/nude get ups that we sported the previous two Halloweens.

Seasons Greetings and happy holidays to all!
No nudity for me over the Christmas break as have family staying.  Also have family not staying because of covid which has royally fouled our christmas plans up  again this year.

Well, it's been cold and rainy here.  I've been mostly limiting myself to a few minutes at a time indoors, mostly standing around near the wood stove.  I have also managed to get naked while driving a few times.  Cars end up being warm enough for casual nudity even in winter.  This week my wife is visiting relatives in Oregon, so my trip from the airport was naked., and my 25 mile trip for shopping at Walmart.   I've never had troubles while driving naked during the day or at night.

Greeting everyone and a happy Christmas. I've done two naked walks this month neither any great distance but both gave me a lift during this dull weather. Next walk is planned for Monday with my grown up children - no doubt clothed!

This month ain't over 'till it's over. The weather predictions look discouraging, but who knows? May have to wait until next year for an enjoyable nude hike. Still there is plenty of work to do in the yard.
