Then, we pointed as if we had just realized that we were comfortable enough to not be aware of our natural state. Ya know, it didn't matter that we were dressed, or not, socially, except to our bodily senses.

By the end of our visit to Dewey last year, I was feeling this way also. As you pointed out in your post, 'Free Range Without a Net', this comfort and ease around others when you are naked has an element of trust in it.

lincolnshire isnt a lot different to parts of somerset.
weve got the levels where you could have a 10 mile line of sight, personally it doesnt worry me at all ,
theres a world of difference between being able to discerne that somebodyis naked and being close enough to get stirred up about it.
the garden i was working in yesterday had a direct line of sight to a couple of houses , maybe 2 miles away... doesnt bother me one iota...
i know that some of the locals know im a naturist ,ive been glimpsed, even conversed with both at home and at work in gardens locally, 

as far as farmers themselves go ,general rule of thumb is if one local  farmer knows a bit of gossip , then all for about 20 miles do as well. so having been caught out about 5 years ago by one of the local farmers wives riding a bicycle along a grass track id be surprised if any of the local farmers didnt know that i occasionally go for a naked walk.

I feel the same way.  My naked golf excursions only worry about other golfers playing up the next fairway, and the groundskeeper driving around on his mower.  People in distant houses and on distant roads are not a concern.  There is a house in plain sight in this golf photo.  There are other houses out of the picture.  Sometimes it just feels important to get naked.

Back in March we were in Death Valley in a area called Lee Flat. It’s far enough off the road that the Park Service doesn’t pave it. I think that the unofficial policy is that if the road in is rough enough, that will keep out the casual tourist. Some of these areas are not for everyone. It appeared to be working. It was rough in spots but we didn’t go that far in, about 10 miles. See the yellow road track on the .kmz file.

South west of where I live, close to Joshua Tree National Forest, there is a place called Cima Dome that has one of the densest groves of Joshua Trees in the world. Lee Flat is another grove that is close behind.

You don’t see many regular park visitors on these roads so the roads tend to be quiet. We saw about 3-4 SUV’s loaded up and headed into the Saline Valley wilderness. The road to Lee Flat is the southern route into Saline Valley Hot Springs. This is getting into one of the areas of the park that few people go to.

It’s even more quiet than Pinto Valley near home. We were there a couple hours. I was carnuding and got out for a walk on the road in the desert. Nice!
