I have tried several times to make sense of who rings which bell, but without a lot of success. I don't have a lot of callers, and most of those who do come to the door are not local residents - the likes of Royal Mail, delivery couriers, sales people and so on. The couriers include a significant proportion of ladies, most of whom have been more than happy to ring the 'nude' bell. Interestingly, one company has just employed a young male courier - who steadfastly rings the 'prude' bell! Doesn't make sense to me. On a couple of occasions, sales callers have been disappointed that I was NOT naked when I came to the door - I had just come in and had not yet discarded my clothing. It is not unusual to be asked if the caller can photograph the sign.
Number of callers? Some weeks, none at all, other weeks up to 10 or so.
Just to clarify - I don't have two separate bells. There is one bell with two push buttons, each of which can be set to produce a different sound. They are intended for premises with two or more access doors, or perhaps a main door and a delivery point. The sign is home made, and I have been asked to produce a similar one for other people on a couple of occasions.
