OK, I'll admit that I knew Naturist Corner isn't a porn site. It's mentioned occasionally by British nudists and that's clear enough. But after Bob's remarks, I went along with the fiction that it's pornographic, because it's a long-time bugaboo of mine that we harm our cause when we accept "naturist" sites that exclude young people. I think this is very wrong, and I won't participate in any group that does it. A lot of people here were on the Secret Naturist Society or Hikingnaked, both now gone, and I never joined because they both had that misguided rule. Freerangenaturism doesn't, and congratulations to Stuart and Karla for being confident in non-sexual naturism, and naturists! I'm on Netnude and used to be on Cat's Chat (but I left that one because of heavy-handed management) and they both accept everyone: in fact they both have special sections for teenagers and I've never heard of trouble there. Maybe it's because NC used to have an erotica section (I can't imagine that working while claiming to have limits on what can be shown, let alone its effect on what viewers would think) that the owners think they're attracting people interested in sex. Other naturist boards don't seem to worry about it.
I think that I looked at NC a while ago, and I tried to send a message to the operators about my reaction to their policy. I don't clearly remember what happened, but maybe the "Contact us" feature only worked for members. Or perhaps my message did go through, but there was no response. Davie, if you can show the bosses this thread, maybe they'd rethink things. Tell them it's possible to claim that they're running a porn site, and nothing visible from the outside suggests that it's not!
