Festivities over, we'll be out on the road in the next couple of days.

I guess quirky was a goal. NT was originally hosted by an arts group and self expression is encouraged. Wearing the chain was easier than jeans & a tshirt. Once adjusted. No pinching or discomfort, probably a lot like riding a bicycle nude. Your head conjures up things that just don't happen.

I rode with the local World Naked Bike Ride this past Saturday night.  It was a wonderful ride through the streets, along with a few stops along the way. Close to 100 riders this year with an abundant number of first timers. I was a backup host and rode behind the masses to avoid stragglers and assist when needed. The full moon added to the event. Ended up on the 10 o'clock news.

Not so much a month. I keep a score of days with some outdoor naturism, and have done for about 15 years. I've just reached a record though, 100 consecutive days. That doesn't happen often with typical UK weather, but the heatwave and drought have made this year different.

I've done two walks this week on Sunday and yesterday. I did a low level walk with 27 other naturists in south Derbyshire which included a dip in a large pool just off the River Trent. We learnt a lesson. One swimmer got cold water shock, fortunately at the pools edge. He had to be warmed up before he could move on. Fortunately all was OK in the end.

Yesterday nine of us walked as nature intended in Shropshire, border country with Wales. It was an excellent day out and as a bonus I came home with a bag of sloes to make sloe gin plus some fresh field mushrooms.

Wow.  27 naturists on a walk.  I wish I could find 3 or 4 around here.

However, next month I want to go to Alexandria Bay and co-ordinate Naked Gardening Down Under on October 22nd at a property in Mount Cotton.

Well, my month has been hectic to say the least with activity, all of which has been excessively textile (suits, smart casual, hosiery and two layers and blah de blah).  Just catching up after almost 10 days without a visit here!!
Mind you, the encroaching autumn remains warm so I have had both day and night naked time outside (all garden stuff).  it's not all been the evils of being dressed!
On Monday I'm going for a walk with a textile friend in quite a secluded location (an old, deserted manor house and grounds) and whilst the chances of this being a naturist outing for me are very low (He isn't), I might just try getting my kit off and see how he reacts (we are very old and familiar friends). 
I'll report back if there's anything to say!

Was the pool natural or was it a man made lido?  What are the symptoms and signs of cold water shock?  How do you get it?

It was a natural pool  on offshoot of the River Trent.

Cold water shock is when the body  enters the water too quickly and the person can't breath properly due to the cold. In thus case therew was hyperthermia too as the core body temperature dropped.

Fortunately all was well at the end of the day

Sorry if you felt misled. I did say "jumpsuit", and accept that as a bit of an overstatement. A picture truly is worth more than mere words.
I had a wonderful visit with Jbee and DF as they travel through Texas. We got the opportunity for a nude sailing trip on Galveston Bay and some canuding adventures on a local lake with a decidedly leaking canoe.
There had been a fire at the park, along with dozer and chainsaw work.  This added more adventure to the trip.
I am sure a full trip report to come with Jbee's thoughtful and visual descriptions.
