This month I've been doing the usual - naked as much as feasible at home and taking icy naked air baths in the arctic weather in the garden.
In the pursuance of a degree of fitness, mainly for the wife but enthusiastically embraced by me too, we have acquired an exercise treadmill and this I walk and jog naked on, with no objection from the aforementioned spouse! :)

Not much else to report - it's the depths of winter!  Not much nudity around Xmas as we have the family staying.

Staying in shape, practicing for the real drill, eh!

Could you do that with a sun lamp, or next to a south facing window?

Glad that the missus is okay with that. Incremental...

Well, We have been hosting the weekly sweat. DF got to the hotsprings for a couple of days with a girlfriend, but I was stuck at home with mysterious illness. Then the weather turned cold. Yes, actually cold in Tucson. I've been here 55 years or more and never seen it freeze more that three nights in a row. It went on over ten nights in a row! It put a damper on any hiking. My minisplit heater broke, putting me into a robe, much of the time.

I had the final touches to finish on the AirB&B before the renters came for the gem show. Now, I'm working for them (I have ten or twenty thousand dollars of dental work coming up!). Every bit will ease the pain. So, I've been dressed each day and dealing with normal laundry issues for the first time in years.

I did happen to make some movies for nudism.tv during those processes. I installed a wood burning stove out on the new "Arizona room." It makes a nice nude sitting spot. In the mornings the sun streams into the big 5x5 south facing windows and feels quite pleasant. Nearly all of the construction has been a nude undertaking.

So, I haven't had a hike all year!

January 2023, no hiking, but not a total loss. February looks like more clothed work and then laid up with that hernia operation. I think that I'll use some of that time planning a nude road trip. March will be different and then, I'll be plenty stimulated to make up for lost time!

Road trip into the badlands of southern Utah, glamping in the White Mountain's forests, revisiting Wilderness of Rocks, maybe get to the top of the Rincon Mountains.

The Midlands Baturust Ramblers held the first walk of the year on Saturday. It was a dull day with a keen edge to the breeze. It was in effect a naturist optional walk. We completed a walk which was just under six miles. Eleven turned up. Three of us managed to be naked for short time before the cold breeze won and we retreated back into the textile world. Despite the clothing it was lovely to meet up again.
There wa additional nudity for some of us as we met up a the local Birmingham naturist swim during the evening.

Sending sympathies, Jbee, to both you and your bank balance!  Hernia and dental work.  And you seem to give a lot of attention to looking after your general health.  Just bad luck I guess.  What's with the teeth?

Usual tally for me this month - domestic nudity only although I have been doing my garden 'airbath' on crisp cold nights and frosty mornings when the air is dry and the temperature very low.  Those are nice times to be naked outside, the air feels stinging and almost warm on the skin.  When it's the normal degree of humid air and grey skies, being naked outside chills you to the core and feels cold.
Last week I have recce'd a hike in the grounds of a ruined manor about 20 miles from home.  I have been there 3 times with a friend (clothed) and it was mostly deserted each time. So in a few months when the sun peeps out, I'm going to have me a long walk there.  And, if it's not too far for him, I'll invite Yeldew along to keep me company and discover this sad, but magical place which is the remnants of the estate of a once wealthy family.

Are you going to be managing an AirB&B?   Did you convert part of your home?   I must have missed that?    Maybe I will need a place to stay if I visit Tucson.

Sad to hear that.  Tooth decay is one of the health issues that a carnivore diet eliminates.  Tooth decay is caused by plaque which is a bacteria that feeds on sugar and carbs.  No carbs, no plaque, no tooth decay.   But maybe your dental issues are something other than tooth decay.

Ne neither, but I live where January is usually too cold.

OMG.  Lots of health problems.  May your next year be better.

Streuth, Jbee! I've not heard of a hernia repair doing that. Did the surgeon warn you of anything like that happening? If not I'd get back to them pronto.

May your pain subside rapidly!

Here's what our Health Service online page says - looks like it can happen, but if it's really 11/10 I'd take it to a medic anyway:

https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/inguinal-hernia-repair/

My first one was no trouble at all, and I'm sincerely hoping the second (other side, same sort of bulge) will be similar.

I'd err on the side of caution and contact the medics, if I were you.  It may be a routine side effect but equally it could be something else.  And pain is never a good thing is it?

Glad to see, Safebare, on one of your Trip Report posts you seem to be recovering now. I've now got a date for my surgery and sincerely hope it's more like my earlier one than your recent one! Before that we have 2 weeks on Lanzarote so should get plenty of sun there. That's in March though so as expected February has been a blank for FRN here!

...and when I addressed my last reply to Safebare (I have no idea why!) of course I meant JBee. Sorry!
