Its common for a few to make the most posts. The 80/20 rule frequently applies. Its the same on Naturist Corner. It's also the case that sites start slowly and then grow. I don't post as frequently as perhaps I could, but I look at the site most days... and to be honest although retired I'm busier than ever and naturism, secret or not is not my only interest. Having said that this is a lovely site, still being informal and friendly and without heavy moderation. What is important is members treat each other with respect, don't call each out and enjoy posting. That's not to say debate shouldn't take place. Respectable debate is healthy.
The larger the site the more you have to regulate and control. Quantity isn't always everything. Sometimes getting what you thought might be good isn't for the best. This site reminds me of Naturist Corner in its early days, a bit rough around the edges, informal and fun. As it grew it became more organised, still a good site but more tightly controlled due to large numbers and a few "who try it on."

Wise counsel, Davie. Yes I am sure the stats of posting or contribution are the same for any forum, society or functional group. I agree too that too big a community loses its character.
I like this forum a lot because we are mostly of an age and liberal outlook that maintains an enjoyable running conversation. I'm afraid I'm a bit of an old silly and look back with happy nostalgia to my first faltering steps from about 2007 into naturism in nature where I was helped by and looked in on the conversations of the 20 or so regular posters on The Secret Naturists Society (TSNS) with a sense of discovery and the joyous 'it's not-just-me' feeling. Because I was learning the SN craft (as we used to term it) and looked in on what others did with a sense of wonder and potential, I guess I was much more absorbed. I think you were there too, Davie.
We used to have lots more regular reports of naturist outings and discussions of Secret Naturism technique for hikes and how to avoid discovery. I remember Hymie's walks before and after work on the building sites with some affection and Mark Yorksnaturem (if I remember right) woodland walks, milfmog's morning dog walks, the SOC hikes, Alf's camping weekends, Dave Balead's bike rides and secreted woodland sunbathing furniture, eyesup's desert wanderings and Larry Tanman's barn/garage adventures. More latterly JOhnGW's canal trips and Jbee's adventures have been the mainstay of reports with some notable other contributions but as you say, you can only report the same sort of trip so many times and indeed my woodland wanderings are less frequent these days and indeed more recent descriptions have merely repeated stuff I have already contributed.
And indeed, as you rightly aver, there are many threads in one's life and recreation that unavoidably can't be done naked and naturism has to fit duly in to a hopefully pleasantly busy and active life.
But the good news is we continue to chat and digress and return and enjoy each others' correspondence in the positive manner you describe and indeed, the majority of topics start with at least some connection to our common naturist interest. So long may that continue.
It occurs to me that we haven't thanked Stuart and Karla lately for their hospitality and for rescuing us from possible oblivion when Lookee's site went tits up (incredibly this was 6 years ago, I think!!). Thank you sincerely Stuart & Karla ('bout time you did another munro, kids!
